About My Journey

Hello...HI...HOLA...BonJour

My name is Raven and I would like to share some of my journey with you. First, thank you for taking the time to visit my website and sharing it with others. 
My life is purposeful and I know that now more than ever. I completed this devotional in February 2019 because I was hurting and lost. Nothing I was reading was helping and I couldn't talk to anyone about what I was going through. I asked the Lord for help and he told me to write a devotional. So, for 30 days the Lord gave me topics and situations that I had been through, along with scriptures to read to get through all of it.   During the year, I would revisit different topics and it was like a breath of fresh air. For over a year, I put off sharing this devotional and I was not being obedient to God.
In June of 2020, I decided enough was enough and began editing and seeking help to publish, and share what God gave me. Before I began, I prayed and the Holy Spirit told me not to be shocked by anything that would happen during this time. Well a few days later, I lost my job of 18 years because COVID-19. I was initially shocked and at a lost for words. The Lord knew this was about to happen, even though I didn't. Once I pulled myself together, I said, "I trust you Lord." Very few people even knew this was happening. I wasn't hiding or shouting it from the rooftop because I knew God had a plan for all of it. Everything that I needed to complete this devotional was provided for me. He's using me in more ways than I could ever image and I'm grateful that I get to share my Journey to Becoming with all of you.
